Player version 2.2

Note: Since this post was originally published, the bitdash player has been renamed as the Bitmovin Adaptive Streaming Player. You can sign up for a free account and use the full version of the Bitmovin Player which includes full DRM support, ad server integration, MPEG-DASH and HLS and much more.

It has not been too long since our last major release in February, but we have been quite busy since then.
This major update introduces skinning support for bitdash! Not only can you choose from predefined skins, but also create your own custom skin. The new skin generator lets you create your own style easily and creates a JSON-object which can be easily integrated into the player configuration. New styles can also be applied dynamically on-the-fly during playback. Of course, these skins work with both the cutting edge HTML5 and the fallback Flash player!
Find out more about skinning the Bitmovin Adaptive Streaming Player.
All the best,
Daniel & the bitdash Team
