Lesson 1.5 Basic Video Compression Techniques

This lesson gets into how video encoding really works. We’ll take you through an introduction to video compression and encoding definitions. We’ll then discuss motion compensation, what codecs are and frame types. Finally we’ll take you through some example Implementation schematics of I-Frames, P-Frames and B-Frames.
