With a global outlook, and working closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Product, Product Marketing and other stakeholders, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will manage all digital marketing platforms, lead its development, insights, optimisation and overall performance. Reporting to the Director of Demand Generation and partnering with the Director of Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Executive, this role will be responsible for input on growth strategy, execution, and optimization across digital challenges,

In this role, you will be an integral part of the global marketing team, leveraging your digital expertise to drive customer awareness, acquisition and growth. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing business. The Senior Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for building the digital strategy, measuring performance, and championing best practices to identify and implement innovative new ways to improve the customer experience.

In partnership with marketing operations you will develop and analyse digital channel performance metrics to drive future marketing decisions and optimize lead acquisition and activation strategy. You will deliver clear, consistent, and frequent communication with Campaign Managers and Field Marketing stakeholders to ensure clarity on strategy, tactics, goals, and performance for digital channels

In this role, you will employ a heavy bias towards automation, striving for scalable efficiency, whilst ensuring customer experience is of the highest quality. The role requires you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement the optimal customer engagement strategy.

As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for…

  • The website - evolution, maintenance, SEO and analytics.  Ensure that the website grows with the business and becomes a fully-functional inbound marketing platform that supports campaign activity, drives conversions, conforms with brand guidelines, delivers a high-quality customer experience and is updated as required via the CMS
  • SEO - analysis, optimisations, reporting 
  • PPC - campaign planning and ROI tracking
  • Setting agency KPIs and monitoring progress
  • Content/creative - Adapt and optimise content for the website, social media accounts and email marketing.  Support the production and promotion of digital content (e.g. videos, e-books, infographics, webinars, banner advertising), and oversee the activities of external agencies to maximise conversion rates
  • Email marketing support - creation of email templates, landing pages and reports in support of campaigns
  • Corporate social media - ensure daily activity on Bitmovin’s social media channels, including Twitter and LinkedIn
  • CRM integration - ensure that relevant marketing systems are integrated with the CRM to support sales pipeline activity; ensure that data capture and quality is maintained to a high standard
  • Marketing analytics - track and analyse all aspects of digital marketing and marketing automation (e.g. website traffic flow, social media metrics, pipeline progress), and generate monthly reports
  • Own legal compliance of Bitmovin’s digital marketing activity (for example, ensure compliance with data privacy across our digital channels)


It would be great if you have...

  • Experience in a high-tech demand generation/digital role
  • Extensive knowledge of digital marketing techniques, specifically SEO,  a can-do attitude and a hands-on approach to managing marketing automation tools.
  • Experience creating and executing integrated lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live and/or virtual events, webinars, email, organic social, paid media, lead nurture programs, and /sales insights.
  • Experience building and formatting web pages and email templates.
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills for both email and web.


It would be even better if you have...

  • 5+ years of professional experience in industry, consulting, or agency
  • A proven track record of personal success and ambitious undertakings
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively: analyze, synthesize, recommend and take actions Previous marketing or user acquisition and growth experience
  • Expert communication, presentation, and material preparation skills required
  • A passion for growth marketing and driving customer adoption
  • Strong team player, able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical - loves to dig deep into the numbers and analyse performance to suggest ways to optimise and improve future digital marketing activities
  • Accountable - taking ownership of our digital marketing and continuously recommending enhancements that will improve our digital success in the future
  • Advanced MS-Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and ideally video/image editing
  • Experience of Website management  
  • Creating and optimising SEO and PPC campaigns (especially LinkedIn sponsored campaigns) Technical integration of marketing platforms and tools (preferably WordPress, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot)
  • Marketing automation
  • B2B social media networking and social selling (LinkedIn/Twitter)
  • Project management: delivering time-sensitive projects and working to deadlines
  • Supplier management
