What constitutes a Design Intern at Bitmovin?

 

At Bitmovin, we’re shaping the future of streaming video, carving our own path toward the future. As an intern on the Design team, we want you to be driven and excited about learning and contributing to our success. We all wear many hats so if you’re the kind of person who can pivot on a dime and roll with the punches while keeping a big smile on your face, you’ve come to the right place!

 

What powers must you possess?

 

• Grand Master of Social  - We take our social media presence very seriously. You’ll be tasked with maintaining a strong brand presence while pushing the boundaries of what is possible by working alongside our super-powered content team. 
• Blackbelt in Presentation design - We do a lot of public speaking and webinars, as well as use presentations among departments. We need a presentation ninja who breathes in doubt and exhales gorgeous Google slide decks.
• International Collateral Creation King - Our internal social culture is strong and also dissipated across the world. We need someone who can collaborate with print vendors, roll up their sleeves to design swag, T-shirts, water bottles, and work closely with our internal HR Team (who are awesome btw).
• Self Start Sprinter - We run at a fast pace and need a self-starter that can pick up projects and run with them without too much assistance.

 

What bonus skills will help your chances?

 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design, Graphic Communication, or Visual Design, either as a junior or a recent graduate.
• Comfortable collaborating with people across various disciplines and locales
• Able to clearly communicate your design decisions
• Familiar with and have previous experience using such tools as Figma, the Google Suite, Adobe Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop.
• Well-versed in Slack also a plus.
